About Lee Davis Jr.

When I am not crafting stories, you will find me on or in the water, chasing sunlight, spending time with family, losing myself in books, wandering unfamiliar streets, or falling into research rabbit holes that eventually surface in my fiction. I have always pursued pleasure without apology, fascinated by the thin line where rational thought meets primal impulse, and where the mind becomes both sanctuary and saboteur on the journey toward becoming our whole selves.

My stories explore the crossroads of crisis, the moments when ordinary people face extraordinary circumstances and uncover their true nature. I write narratives where emotional authenticity meets pulse-quickening tension, shaped by my fascination with culture, human resilience, and the subtle currents that influence our choices. At the heart of each tale stands the character, complex individuals whose journeys are forged in the fires of raw emotion, unwavering loyalty, and quiet courage.

Oath of the Osprey, my first novel, examines generational trauma, the triumph of courage over fear, and the power of human connection in our darkest hours. I am drawn to imperfect protagonists standing at crossroads where a single decision can alter the course of their lives.
